Born and raised in the Denver area, I went to New College in Florida. After graduating in 1981, I was a mental health worker for children and adults for six years.
I then spent six years earning my M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in the Child Clinical Psychology program at the University of Denver, including an internship at Stanford University. I did additional postdoctoral training at the Developmental Neuropsychology Lab, also at DU.
I have been licensed in Colorado as a psychologist since 1995 and began my private practice in 1997. I have also worked in community mental health and supervise doctoral trainees.
